Barbeque BBQ Brush Review

Cleaning the BBQ is always a nasty job. When I came across this new brush design I was not expecting to be impressed. We have an infrared grill so the grates aren’t the same as a traditional grill, which makes it harder to clean. However, I was super excited when we got down into the nitty gritty with this brush. It worked! Our process is to bring the grates into the sink in the garage and clean them there, so with this new brush it got down into the cracks and made cleaning a snap! bbq-brush

Stainless Steel Coffee Mug

steel mugBeautiful steel mug! Love the look of the mug part. The handle seems to be designed funny and I would actually prefer the mug without the handle. Very drinkable and nice insulation. Bummer that you can’t reheat drinks in the microwave, but that’s the price you pay for a super stylish mug ūüôā It keeps your coffee warm while you get your day started. ¬†The mug is one solid piece so you don’t have to worry about cleaning the little bits.

*I received this mug at promotional pricing.  Opinions are my own.*

Turmerex Turmeric Capsules

turmerexTurmeric is reputed to be a magic cure-all so I make my kids take it to stay well during the winter. ¬†This brand is nice since it is in easy-to-swallow capsules. ¬†I like that¬†it has no added flavors or coloring so it seems pure. ¬†According to WebMD, turmeric can ease pain from arthritis pain and is anti inflamatory. ¬† There don’t seem to be any side effects, and it is a staple in Indian food. ¬† ¬†

Received a free sample to test, the opinions here are my own.

Beanitos Chips

beanitosWell, we got the samples of chips and tried them. Happened to have a few extra kids in the house, so got some more opinions. Universally, none of the kids would ask for them in the store. We couldn’t even finish the bags of chips.

The kids thought they tasted weird.  A little too salty and kinda burnt flavored.  They might be the sort of thing a parent would buy to MAKE their kids be more healthy, but I would have to cover them with beans and cheese to get my kids to eat them.

Booo…. ¬†wished they were better…..
